South Florida Bellydance Meetup is run by bellydancers for bellydancers and those who enjoy bellydancing. Whether a studio owner, professional dancer, student, friend of a bellydancer or just interested in learning more about bellydance... We welcome you to join our events, our group, and to peruse our pages.
~ What We Are About ~
Bellydance!!! We embrace all modalities of dance! Our primary focus is on education and making the world a better place through bellydance. Visit our Bellydance History and Bellydance Miracles pages to learn more about some of the ways bellydance has already positively influenced changes amongst our art, community and culture over the years. We've put together and are continuing to put together many special events and sections, just for you!

We provide resources for Teachers to promote their Studios, Classes and Events. Students and beginning dancers are encouraged to post questions or to share their experiences with other members by posting on our Message Board.
~ Where We Meet ~
We meet anywhere a dancer might feel at home! Art studios, ballrooms, cafes, clubs, members homes, movie theaters, parks, restaurants, studios or even a spa! If you know of a great location for a MeetUp, let us know about it!
~ What It Costs ~
Nothing! All we ask in return is that you remember to RSVP for the events and rate them afterward, tip your waiters, buy as many raffle tickets as you want and most importantly, have a fantastic time!

So become a member and join us at our next event! You can even become a sponsor or volunteer your time or talent for an event. We offer training positions as well! Come learn about the history, customs and professional guidelines the bellydance community has established for over 40 years in South Florida to make bellydancing the respected outlet for artistic expression it is today!
We also have top dance artists and professionals as guest speakers at our Monthly MeetUps! MeetUp topics may include: Business, costuming, choreography, drumming, henna, makeup, movie nights, performance and much, much more! Have an idea for a topic? We'd love to hear it!
